Our History |
Grace Evangelical Free Church is a church plant
with the Central District of the
Evangelical Free Church of America.
In the fall of 2006, church planter Mark Doss met with a group of Indianola families who
were interested in planting an Evangelical Free church.
After many months of Bible study, prayer and planning, our first public
worship service was held Easter Sunday, 2008.
I see the
need for all kinds of churches to reach all kinds of people. I also
believe the variety of people in and around Indianola offers a great
opportunity for the Evangelical Free Church of America to sponsor a new
church with the same beliefs as other area Free Churches but with a
different ministry style. The Central District celebrates both the
present influence of our existing churches and the potential influence
of our new churches as we seek to expand our efforts to communicate the
good news of Jesus Christ.
